Overview
Label: OCAD is a student-led brand initiative that I co-founded, centered on creating a flexible identity system for OCAD University’s apparel. We continue to design pieces that reflect the school’s experimental, interdisciplinary culture while remaining adaptable across different garments and applications.
Process
Each project the brand takes on begins with research into what kind of garments we want to produce. We than focus on communicating ideas effectively and meaningfully while helping build school community. From there, we explore different layouts through a series of iterations, testing how each element can remain flexible across various garments and formats. Each drop is developed collaboratively, with feedback shaping key decisions around modularity, consistency, and scalability.
Outcome
The final outcome to date includes two successful merchandise releases, with plans for future drops and collaborative projects currently in development.
